Now booking for our Creative Skills workshops!
We are glad to announce that our first two Creative Skills workshops are open for booking. We’ve developed the programme in response to what you told us earlier in the year about how you work and what you need a little extra help with. In response we are developing two types of learning event:
- Creative Skills workshops which are half-day bespoke, tailored sessions with experienced sector specialists, where you can get practical help that is specific to your challenges, and come away with new tools and techniques
- Insight Nights, evening events where you can discuss current issues and challenges with a panel of industry insiders, coming away with great learning on how to progress your practice.
Our first Creative Skills workshops are:
- Creative business planning, for creatives who hate business planning – led by Julia Payne
- I’m OK at promoting others, but rubbish at promoting myself! a PR masterclass led by Helen Oldfield
These are fantastic ways to upskill your practice through bespoke, tailored sessions with specialists who really understand the creative and cultural sector.
Spaces are limited so reserve your place now. The workshops are ticketed but with free bursary spaces to ensure no-one misses out – if you would like a bursary space, please just drop us a line at hello@creativecolchester.org.uk
Other upcoming events will be opening for booking shortly, including an arts funding surgery, a collaboration with Good Mood Creative and panel events on supporting neurodiverse colleagues, so make sure you check back regularly for more updates.
