Applications now open for new action learning programme…Free to all!
Posted: 9th May 2019
Closing: 2nd June 2019
Between June-December we’ll be setting up 4 new, entirely free, action learning ‘sets’ – each with just 8-10 members - for those working in Colchester’s creative or digital sectors: everyone from creative and digital sector freelancers to those running their own businesses or who work in larger creative organisations. They are part of the EU funded SECCADS support programme, designed to support the growth of the creative and digital sector.
Action learning is a form of professional development that brings people together in ‘sets’ to reflect on the real life professional challenges and opportunities they face. It’s a powerful problem-solving process that can help stretch your thinking about your career and that tackles the isolation that often goes with running your own creative business.
Each set will be facilitated by the hub’s director, Julia Payne, who has close to 10 years’ experience as an action learning facilitator and set member. The closing date for Sets 1 &2 (starting 12 and 18 June) is 2 June. For more details about all dates and how to apply, plus how action learning works and why Julia thinks action learning is valuable, head to this introductory blog: http://tiny.cc/pl0f6y.
